FAQ

Popular Topics

How do I analyze an email?
Copy the suspicious email text, open the extension, paste, then click Analyze. You’ll see a risk score and a list of reasons within ~60 seconds.
What data leaves my browser?
By default, analysis runs locally. When cloud checks are needed, only anonymized threat signatures are sent—never raw content.
Why was a link flagged as malicious?
We look for URL obfuscation, suspicious redirects, recently registered domains, and matches in threat intel sources. The report lists the exact indicators.
How accurate is the risk score?
In our tests, Phish-Guard identifies >90% of true phishing attempts. We still recommend caution: if a message requests credentials or payment, verify through a trusted channel.
What’s included in Free vs Pro vs Premium?
See Pricing & Features for a complete breakdown of limits and extras such as header parsing and CSV export.
